MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Corrections Officer at Midstate Correctional Facility in Marcy charged earlier this month is now facing new charges.

According to New York State Police, David Roberts, 53 has now been charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and offering a false instrument for filing.

Authorities say Roberts is alleged to have submitted two Family Medical Leave Act forms which contained a forged doctor's signature to the personnel office.

He was arraigned in the Town of Marcy Court and released on his own recognizance.

Earlier this month, Roberts was charged with aggravated harassment and criminal contempt. Authorities are releasing few details at this time in relation to those charges, but say that C.O. David Roberts was arrested in relation to an order of protection issued earlier this year.
