Police: Wendy's employee charged after trying to break back into work

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - An employee at the Wendy's in New Hartford is facing charges after police say he tried to break in to the restaurant in the early morning hours of last Wednesday.

According to New Hartford Police, Roshad L. Reid, 18, of Utica, was seen on surveillance footage around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, moving the camera and trying to gain access through the drive-thru window of the Wendy's on Seneca Turnpike where he is employed.

Reid was charged with one count of third-degree attempted burglary, was arraigned in the Town of New Hartford Court and released on his own recognizance pending further court proceedings.
