Police investigate string of car larcenies in New Hartford
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford Police Department is investigating numerous larcenies from vehicles which occurred during the early morning hours of March 12, 2013. Police say officers responded to Pearl Street in the Village of New Hartford at approximately 2:20 am on March 12 for a reported larceny from an unsecured vehicle. While conducting an area check on foot, officers located multiple vehicles which appeared to have been entered through unsecured doors and items inside the vehicle had been moved about. According to authorities, officers located a total of 13 vehicles, which were entered and the contents rifled through, on Allport Place, Hartford Terrace and Paris Road, all in the Village of New Hartford. New Hartford Police are requesting the public's help in identifying the two individual's shown in video footage. Police believe the two individuals may be involved or may have information regarding the crimes.
