Police look for help identifying woman in Whitesboro larceny

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - Police are asking the public to help identify a woman seen in surveillance footage in connection to a larceny at a Dollar General Store in the Village of Whitesboro.

According to police, the incident happened at the Dollar General Store in the Colonial Shopping Plaza at 131 Oriskany Boulevard in Whitesboto between 2:25 p.m. and 2:55 p.m.on Friday.

Police say the woman left the store with four of her own shopping bags, filled with unpaid items from the store.

While in the store, police say the woman used stolen store items to alter her appearance as she left.

Authorities say the woman left driving a black Dodge Magnum station wagon, which was last seen headed eastbound on Oriskany Boulevard. They were able to determine a partial plate number, which they believe begins with DNY or DNZ.
