VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A woman was sent to the Oneida County Jail after the sheriff's office says that she stabbed her live-in boyfriend.
According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, 41-year-old Shawn Newman stabbed her boyfriend at their home on North Lake Shore Road in the Town of Verona during a domestic dispute.
The victim, Erwin Eaton, suffered a deep cut to his right arm and was sent to Oneida Hospital.
Newman was charged with assault. She was sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 bail.
