Four charged in home burglaries in Otsego, Delaware and Chenango Counties

Four individuals have been charged after a month-long investigation into numerous residential burglaries in three different counties.

According to New York State Police, the four were charged in connection to a number of burglaries to homes in Otsego, Delaware and Chenango Counties.

Nicole L. Luna, 27, of Sidney; Daniel F. McEwan, 25, of Guilford; and James F. Amatucio, 35, of Unadilla were all charged with second-degree burglary. All three were arraigned in the Town of Laurens Court on May 29 and sent to the Otsego County Jail in lie of $15,000 cash bail pending future court proceedings.

A few days earlier, on May 24, State Police, in a related case, arrested Travis M. Andrews, 22, of Unadilla and charged him with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Andrews was arraigned in the Town of Unadilla Court and remanded to the Otsego County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail pending future court proceedings.

The New York State Police is continuing this investigation and ask anyone who may have been the victim of unreported thefts of property from their residences contact them at 607-561-7400.
