Police: Oneonta man illegally sold prescription drugs

ONEONTA, N.Y. (WKTV) - An Otsego County man could face up to ten years in prison if he is convicted on charges of selling prescription drugs.

According to the Otsego County Sheriff's Department, 43-year-old John Nack of Oneonta was arrested this week following a two-month narcotics investigation into prescription medications being sold.

Police say that in July and August of 2011, Nack sold hydrocodone tablets in the City of Oneonta.

Nack was indicted by the Otsego County Grand Jury and he was arrested after a warrant was issued.

He was sent to the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $15,000 bail.
