Rome homicide victim had crime-filled past

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The 20-year-old killed on East Bloomfield Street, Jadreck Baker, had a crime-filled past according to state prison records.

According to the New York State Department of Correctional Services, Baker was released from state prison as recently as February 2010. He was convicted of burglary and sent to the Clinton Correctional Facility in northern New York in November of 2006.

Records indicate that Baker was born in September of 1989, making him 16 years old at the time of imprisonment.
