Rome Police: Adult man slaps kids at bus stop

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Rome man is facing charges after police say he was arrested on Turin Street for slapping kids at a bus stop.

According to the Rome Police Department, 23-year-old Jeffery Smith-Brown approached a group of kids at a school bus stop on Thursday, threatened two of them, slapped then and pushed them both to ground.

Both victims were not injured in the incident.

Smith-Brown is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, harassment and menacing. He is currently being held in Rome Police lockup.
