Rome Police: Man rapes 15-year-old

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Rome man is facing felony charges after police say he raped a 15-year-old girl.

According to the Rome Police Department, 28-year-old Brian Wright was arrested on Thursday for engaging in sexual intercourse with someone under the age of 17.

Wright was charged with one count of rape, a felony. He was arraigned in Rome City Court and bail was set at $7,500.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center assisted in the investigation.
