UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - An investigation into the sale and distribution of cocaine led to the arrest of a Utica man already on parole. According to Utica Police, 22-year-old Sherman Reed was taken into custody on Friday. A warrant was issued and cocaine was found in his possession. Reed is charged with several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. According to New York State records, Reed's parole comes from a robbery conviction in Oneida County in 2009.
