Police Chief: Early morning stabbing victim treated and released

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Police Chief Mark Williams says the victim in an early morning stabbing has been treated and released from the hospital.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Monday morning, with multiple police crews responding to the home on Merriline Avenue.

As of this writing, police have not released the name of the stabbing victim, or the name of any possible suspects. It is also not known at this time whether or not anyone is in custody for the stabbing.
