Police: Utica man charged after robbing Fastrak

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Police have arrested a man in connection with a robbery at Fastrak on Herkimer Road early Sunday morning.

According to UPD, 47-year-old Anthony Carcone is charged with robbery, a felony.

Police say that Carcone followed the store clerk behind the counter, ordered her to give him all the money in the cash register, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery, according to police.

Carcone, who was dressed in camouflage clothing and wearing black face paint and gloves, was found inside a car at the North Genesee Street Fastrak.

The stolen money from the robbery was recovered.

Two other suspects inside the vehicle with Carcone were interviewed and released.
