Burn victim charged in Middleville fire

MIDDLEVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - State Police in Herkimer have arrested two women for intentionally setting a fire in the Village of Middleville.

Jessica Durand, 23, who formerly lived at 13 South Main Street in Middleville, and Christine Dolly, 22, of 203 Jim Street, Ilion, face arson charges in connection to a fire at 13 South Main Street on Friday, Aug. 20th.

Durand was burned in a fire at the same home on August 1st.

Durand is charged with 2nd degree Arson and Dolly is charged with 3rd degree Arson. Both women have been arraigned in the Town of Fairfield. Bail is set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond. They are scheduled to appear in court again on Sept. 8.

The investigation into both fires at the Middleville home continue.
