Two charged after drugs found after warrant executed on Kossuth Ave in Utica

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two Utica residents are facing charges after authorities executed a search warrant at Kossuth Ave apartment and found narcotics.

According to Utica Police, on Monday, January 16, the UPD METRO Narcotics Unit, along with New Hartford and Kirkland Police Departments, executed a search warrant at 1139 Kossuth Ave in the first-floor apartment. Police say inside the apartment, officers found prescription medication, marijuana and cash, which were all seized.

Patricia DeMattio, 57, of the residence was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, along with third and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Scott DeMattio, 52, also of the residence, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
