Utica man pleads guilty to rape

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A registered sex offender accused of raping a woman in the City of Utica has pleaded guilty.

According to the Oneida County District Attorney's Office, Dennis Lotoski, 45, of Utica, pleaded guilty Friday in Oneida County Court to first-degree attempted rape.

Lotoski admitted to forcing his way into an apartment on Lincoln Avenue in Utica over the summer and raping a woman who lived there. He is a level three sex offender and according to the sex offender registry, he was arrested back in 2010 for having sexual contact with an 8 year old boy.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 26.
