Healthy Heiny's baby store opens in Clinton

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - A new store in town aims at providing products for the youngest of consumers. A local mother and daughter have teamed up to start their own business for babies.

Healthy Heiny's is a specialty baby store on Kirkland Avenue in Clinton. The boutique sells natural baby care products and toys, using organic materials and fabrics like unbleached cotton, and rayon made from bamboo and hemp.

From cloth diapers to wooden toys the owners say going green doesn't have to mean sacrificing convenience.

Store owner Tanya Beers says, "We are offering locally made products besides the diapers we offer locally made toys, lotions and balms for the care of your child."

The store is open Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 to 5:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 2:00.
