More than $50,000 in arts funding awarded to Utica-Rome organizations
UTICA / ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - More than $50,000 in funding for arts and cultural organizations are headed to the Utica-Rome area from the New York State Council for the Arts.
The Council has awarded $4,500 to the Capitol Theatre in Rome for exhibitions, electronic media and film. $10,000 heads to the Central New York Community Arts Council in Utica for their arts in education program. The City of Utica will receive $20,000 for architectural planning and design studies. $12,500 for general program support at Munson Williams Proctor Institute. And the Rome Art and Community Center in Rome will receive $9,000 for workshops. Most Popular |
