ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Aldi in the city of Rome are now displaying a fresh new look following a grand re-opening Friday morning.

The store was closed for the last ten days to remodel the ceiling, floor and redecorate with new graphics. They are going for a more modern look that they hope their customers will enjoy and will hopefully attract new customers. The store was closed for just over a week while the renovations occurred, but District Manager Renee Hayes says customers are thrilled to see the doors back open.

"We've gotten very, very positive feedback from customers," Hayes said. "A fresh new look. Everybody is enjoying it. Very positive feedback. Most of all, they're happy we're reopened."

In addition to the makeover, they're also bringing in new brands of foods.
