Congressman Hanna talks jobs with business owners at Rome Chamber meeting

By WKTV News

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Local Congressman Richard Hanna met with business owners in the City of Rome on Thursday, part of which was about bringing more jobs to the area.

Celebrating 100 years in operation, the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce convened with Congressman Hanna at The Beeches, where Hanna discussed ways to get business back on to United States' soil, and more specifically, back in Central New York.

"We need to build products, we need to energize entrepreneurs and we need to look to the world to provide projects," Congressman Hanna said. "We need to engage and put the middle class back to work."

Hanna added that the way to do this is to make people more confident in the system.
