First Niagara Bank makes donation towards Clinton Elementary School playground

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - Clinton Elementary School got a generous donation on Wednesday toward rebuilding its playground.

School Principal Steven Marcus says that the playground is not only a place for children to play, but a place where they develop important mental, social and physical skills.

The school accepted a check for $1,000 from First Niagara Bank in Clinton on Wednesday to put toward the second phase of rebuilding its playground.

The expansion will include a walking trail, as well as several activities including climbing walls, faster slides, and spinning activities.
