UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica area restaurant is breathing new life in to the old Thornberry's at 1101 King Street.

The Lotus Garden cut the ribbon on the new King Street restaurant on Monday afternoon.

The menu offers an eclectic mix of cuisine, including Vietnamese, Cambodian, Chinese, Thai and Sushi. While the new space gives the owners the opportunity to host larger parties and banquets, but that's not the only reason the owner decided to change the address.

"We like to help bring more businesses to the downtown area and it's a bigger and better location overall," said Kristina Phou, Lotus Garden Manager.

The Lotus Garden has been open for three years, their previous location being on Bleecker Street in Utica.
