Oneida High School Marching Band honors veterans during annual NYC Parade

By WKTV News

ONEIDA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A big congratulations to the Oneida High School marching band, who performed in New York City this past weekend for the annual Band of Pride Tribute on Saturday and annual Veterans Day Parade on Sunday.

Before the Veterans Day Parade kicks off, a unique mass band performance, The Band of Pride Tribute, is held in the hear of Times Square and features all the student performers who are participating in the parade.

Then, on Veterans Day, high school band members get the chance to say thank you to all veterans, as well as perform to thousands of cheering spectators along New York's Fifth Avenue.

Oneida High School's Marching Band is one of about a dozen from across the country to perform in this year's event.
