Event Description

International touring a cappella group, Ball in the House (BitH) will be performing at Whitesboro High School on March 27th as a part of the concert series to honor former Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Richard C. Robinson. Mr. Robinson was an avid supporter of the music program and a musician himself. Ball in the House is a five-man a cappella band from Boston, MA. A typical BitH show includes both original music and cover songs from the 1950s to today, all performed in an a cappella style that includes a vocal bass guitar and vocal drums or beatbox. Averaging 250 shows a year, BitH plays a variety of venues including theatres, colleges, schools and have appeared America’s Got Talent and NBC’s TODAY Show. Web-site:

Educating and inspiring students has always been very important to BitH. They’ll be performing two workshops with area choirs, and then Whitesboro Chamber Singers, Clinton High School Singers and Holland Patent Vocal Ensemble will join them on stage for the opening performance at the evening concert. BitH member, Dave Guisti says this, “We’re so honored to be a part of a concert series like this. Mr. Robinson is the advocate that so many school arts programs need. Jon and I met as kids at the Boston Boys Choir School. Ryan, Suranjan, and Nels are also products of their elementary through high school choirs. We’re thrilled to share our positivity and inspiration with the students and community to honor Mr. Robinson.”

The Concert is March 27th at 7:00pm in the Whitesboro High School Auditorium.
Tickets are $15.00/Adult and $10.00 for Students/Seniors.
