UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Many people gathered in Utica College's Student Lounge on Wednesday to watch, listen, and taste a variety of fine arts.

The Department of Performing and Fine Arts and The School of Arts and Sciences hosted the second annual "A Taste of the Arts" event.

On the menu were items like S'mores Spaghetti, along with samplings of food from around-the-world and even local cuisine.

The purpose is to showcase how talented the student body is.

"We realized that a lot of people didn't know how creative our students were, and the kind of activities they were doing, so we wanted to have a chance just to give a sampling of the wonderful fine arts and performances and music, which you can hear in the background right now, and this is a chance to bring everyone together," said Maryjean Levering, Associate Professor of Theatre.

Some favorites among the students were Spam Sushi and Nitrogen Ice Cream that smokes.
