National Braille Challenge

Through music, Presley Jorgensen of Keller, Texas sees her future and her 8-year-old ambition is to be a music teacher.

She's always practicing, including her second favorite thing to do that's rough around the edges.

Blind since birth, Presley reads the same books as those who can see and it's her mastery of it that after passing three tests at Keller ISD that's taking her to the National Braille Challenge.

She's one of 60 finalists from around the country and two provinces in Canada.

If she wins, she'll leave with a $1000 savings bond.

The competition is not just reading, but she’ll have to write braille too using a braille machine.

It all happens at the end of them month.

Presley reveals her world using a skill that simply makes sense.
