LEE, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Rome Catholic Second Grader from the Town of Lee appeared in the February 9 episode of the Emmy-winning NBC comedy "30 Rock."

Hayley Heffernan, 7 years old, is playing "Young Jenna Maroney" - the younger version of one of 30 Rock's main characters, played by actress Jane Krakowski.

The appearance makes Hayley eligible to join the prestigious Screen Actors Guild, a step towards her dreams of becoming a famous actress.

"I want to be famous and we're trying to save up for a mansion and a jacuzzi," says Hayley.

In the scene, Hayley will play Jenna Maroney in a flashback scene where she lipsynchs to Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" in a talent show.

"Of course, she's not going to know what that song is at all," says Hayley's mother, Kelly Heffernan. "So we had to play the song through YouTube, learn the words, and I got her a little bit of a routine to describe how Jenna was so she could go in there and knock their socks off."

Kelly says Haylee and her mom got a call to return to New York City the morning after their first audition in order to shoot the scene. They weren't even back home to Lee yet when they received the call.

Hayley, along with her 8 year-old brother, Sam, work with Prestige Management Group in New York City.

Hayley can also be seen locally on the "Oneida Savings Bank" commercial.

"30 Rock" airs on WKTV at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
