The shaven anchorman: Rainy day shaving strike ends

UTICA, N.Y.(WKTV) - After a soggy April, WKTV meteorologist Bill Kardas, and morning anchor Don Shipman put themselves up to a challenge. They would not shave until the Mohawk Valley and most of Central New York went without rain for at least two full days.

After nearly a week of letting their beards grow in, the sun finally came out, and stayed out Monday and Tuesday.

We invited a barber from "Line 'em Up," barber shop in Utica to come on the Sunrise Show live to shave their beards.
