Tour dates postponed for Dickey Betts, including Turning Stone

VERONA, N.Y. - A family emergency has forced Dickey Betts & Great Southern to postpone their August tour dates, including an August 21 show at the Turning Stone Resort Casino Showroom. The band plans to announce rescheduled tour dates as soon as possible.

Dickey Betts' manager, David Spero, said, "We apologize greatly for any inconvenience that these postponements may cause." Those holding tickets for the August 21 show at Turning Stone may use them for the yet to be determined future show date.

Dickey Betts, a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, has one of the most distinctive voices in music today. Known as one of the most influential guitar players of all time, Betts has mastered a seamless style of lyrical melody and rhythm -- marrying country, jazz, blues, and rock into one unparalleled sound.
