Oneida dance studio turns in makeshift pantry

ONEIDA, N.Y. (WKTV) - As residents continue to await return to their homes in the City of Oneida, neighbors are stepping up and have opened a pantry.

The pantry is on Cedar Street, housed in Nicole's Studio of Dance.

The effort began small on Friday as the owner of Kenwood Kakes made food and distributed it door to door. It grew into a full-fledged pantry with canned goods, clothing, blankets, shoes and more.

If people are willing to donate, organizers say that baby supplies are their current focus.
