• One clean jar (pasta or ball jars)• Apple Cider Vinegar, unfiltered, enough to fill the jar• 2 bulbs of garlic• 1 ginger root about the size of your palm• 1 horseradish root• Chili peppers (use what you like, habanero for really hot, jalapeno for lesshot, large hot peppers for mild)• Onions, chopped• Fresh herbs (optional, such as thyme, sage, oregano, etc.)• Honey (optional) About one tablespoon, but toyour taste
Put all ingredients in the jar first, adding apple cidervinegar last. Then transfer to sauce pan, heat slightly onlow heat (do not boil). Can add honey and then turn off the heat.
Uses:• In fall and winter, take 1 tsp-‐1 Tbsp. per day to fight off colds. Or takeit when you feel one coming on.
• You can also use this as a marinade or dressing.
It is best when it can sit in a sealed jar in a dark, cool placefor 2-‐8 weeks for added benefits.
