VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Oneida Indian Nation and the American Red Cross teamed up Tuesday for the 18th annual Winter Blood Drive at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino. Anyone weighing more than 110 pounds is invited to Turning Stone Casino's Cypress Room until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday to donate, but as Donor Specialist Anna Michel says, the necessity for donors doesn't stop there. "The need for blood is always constant," Michel said. "There's a constant need no matter the time of year, the time of day, it's always needed." Dunkin' Donuts has pledged a free pound of coffee to all blood donors. For more information, you can visit www.redcrossblood.org.
