Wyman family is "Managing with God's grace"

ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKTV) - Tonight the family of Kurt Wyman is banding together following the tragic loss of a man who was a husband, son, father and friend.

It has been three days since the standoff that killed Oneida County Deputy Kurt Wyman. During that time the family has lost Kurt Wyman, but welcomed baby Adyson Jynnette Wyman into the world.

Grandparents of Adyson Wyman say they are overjoyed with the birth of their new granddaughter. While they did not wish to speak with NEWSChannel 2 on camera, they say the infant is doing well. As for Lauren Wyman, widow of Kurt Wyman, they say her faith in God is sustaining her, and that's the only way she is getting through this unbearable time.

Kurt Wyman's mother says she and her husband are "managing with God's grace."

The family is welcoming those who wish to pay their respects with open arms to the Utica Auditorium on Monday morning at 11 am for funeral services.
