Police seek "person of interest" in NBT Bank Robbery

ROME - According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Department there was a robbery around 3:41 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the NBT Bank on Black River Boulevard in Rome.

Rome Police Detective Division, Patrol Division, Special Investigations Unit and Forensic Identification Unit responded along with assistance from the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.

Police say they're now looking for a "person of interest" - a man by the name of Scott Mowry. Mowry is described as a 24 year-old white male, 5' 10", 220 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

An undetermined amount of money was stolen.
