New Hartford woman announces candidacy for NYS Supreme Court Justice

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A New Hartford woman on Thursday announced her candidacy for New York State Supreme Court Justice in the fifth judicial district.

Erin Gall has spent the past 12 years as principal court attorney to acting Supreme Court Justice Barry Donalty. Gall says she has experience in all aspects of law, from civil and criminal to family court. But she says it's also her life experience that makes her qualified for the office she seeks.

"I just really believe that the system will benefit and our courts will benefit from having a mother, a young woman, on the bench who brings a different perspective," says Gall.

There are six counties in the fifth judicial district.

Gall has the Oneida County Republican Party endorsement.
