Scott McNamara sworn in as Oneida County District Attorney

UTICA - Also taking an oath of office today was Oneida County District Attorney Scott McNamara.

McNamara has held the position for nine months after taking over for now Congressman Michael Arcuri. Today, in front of his supporters at the Oneida County Courthouse in Utica, McNamara officially took office as an elected official.

"I love the job and I look forward to now being able to direct all my attention to the District Attorney's Office and crime cases," McNamara said.

McNamara went on to say that he will now help combat the gang and drug problems in Oneida County.
