Utica Man Arrested For Alleged Sexual Abuse of a Child

A Utica man is behind bars after allegedly sexually abusing a child.

According to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, 26-year-old Michael Chicherchia allegedly had inappropriate physical contact with a six-year-old female while babysitting her.

Chicherchia is in Oneida County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. We are told the child and mother have been offered counseling services.
