Stanley Theater Re-Schedules Shows After Extended Renovation

By Andrew Donovan

They are cutting it close, but officials with the Central New York Community Arts Council say the Stanley Theater will be ready to go about a week before the curtain's due to rise on the first performance in the newly-refurbished theater.

Broadway Theater League officials have rescheduled shows that were displaced by the Stanley Theater renovations, which are taking longer than expected to be completed.

If you had tickets for a show's first night performance, those tickets are valid for the first night of the new dates. It is also the same thing if you had tickets for the 2nd night of a show. They are good for the 2nd night of the rescheduled show dates. The first rescheduled show happens April 7th. The Stanley's renovations are not due to be completed until about a week prior, but the head of the Central New York Community Arts Council is satisfied with that brief buffer

If the new show dates do not work for you, you can get a refund at the point of sale from January 7th until the date on your ticket.
