Suspect in Clinton Homicide Is Victim's Grandson
Police say Edward Bogan's 19-year-old grandson, Kevin Adams, killed Bogan early Friday afternoon and then left the scene in a vehicle. A short time later, officials say Adams walked into the New Hartford Police Department and told the staff there that he had just committed a murder in Clinton. Officers there quickly took Adams into custody and charged him with 2nd degree murder. Police say there was blood on Adams when he arrived at the station, and that he was treated for an injury to his hand. Autopsy results show that 80-year-old Edward Bogan died of multiple stab wounds to the neck. A felony hearing is scheduled for 1pm on Monday at New Hartford Town Court.
