Setback for Oriskany Manufacturing's Plans to Expand
NEW YORK MILLS - Oriskany Manufacturing's plans to expand at their current site in New York Mills, the former Bonide chemical building, suffered a setback Tuesday night. The company had requested a zoning change which would have allowed the facility's expansion to come within 50 feet of homes in the area. Several residents were opposed to the move and Tuesday night it was voted down three to two. The company makes specialize aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and steel tubing products. Company officials say they will probably pursue this through the courts. Most Popular
