Rome man facing charges of sexual contact with 6 and 8 year olds

UTICA - A Rome man made a court appearance Friday on charges of sex abuse against a child.

Police say Phillip King, 58, of Rome, allegedly had sexual contact with a six and an eight year old boy in his home in 2006 and 2007.

Several law enforcement agencies worked to conduct this investigation.

King remains in the Oneida County Jail tonight.
