Two men dead, one identified, after fatal fight in Rome

ROME - Two men are dead, and others injured after a fatal fight in Rome early Saturday morning.

Rome police responded to a report of a large fight in Denny's parking lot on James Street just before 3:00 AM. When they arrived they found six males with various injuries, some of those stab wounds.

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene while four others were taken to the hospital. One of the deceased is Daniel Hernandez, 27 years old from Rome and the other name has yet to be released.

Two men have since been released and two others remain hospitalized with serious injuries.
