Boilermaker committee meets for first time of the year

UTICA - More than 12,000 runners lined up for last year's Boilermaker, and this year race officials are hoping for just as many.

Preparations for this year's Boilermaker started right after last year's finished.

But Friday, the Boilermaker committee will meet for the first time, and this year they have a new executive director.
