UTICA'S ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE

Andrew Donovan

The Utica St. Patrick's Day Parade took place along Genesee Street on Saturday. The weather provided a mild climate for tens of thousands of people to celebrate the Luck O' The Irish in Utica and all around central New York. Spirits were high in honor of the Irish holiday which officially is celebrated on Monday. People of all origins and ethnicities from all over the area came to Utica for the annual tradition.

Multiple groups and floats participated in the parade including Delmonico's Steakhouse, Assist 2 Sell Real Estate, local area police and fire departments, bagpipers, American Legion groups, and the Boilermaker among many, many other groups and business from this area.

The NEWSChannel 2 Crew marched in the parade as always. Your favorite anchors and reporters such as Bill Worden, Don Shipman, Andrea Bullard, Kristen Copeland, behind-the-scenes employees such as directors, web producers, news producers among many others.
