Moody's Polaris in Newport goes up in flames

NEWPORT - An early morning fire in the Village of Newport had crews up early. The call came in around 6 a.m. Friday morning that "Moody's Polaris" was up in flames.

The business is at 7461 Main Street in Newport. From the viewer pictures you can see just how bad the damage is.

Poland Fire Department also assisted in getting the fire under control. Crews were on scene for several hours.

The Newport Fire Department did not have many details by midday on Friday.

poland, middleville,and newport firemen exspecially for haveing to be there several times throughout the night. all the firemen did a great job. evryones heart goes to the moody family, they are great people and have ovecome many things and will over come this tradgety. its is great to see a small town and its friends and familys pull togather and help other familys in any way poslibile.

What a great job that Newport,Middleville,and Poland Fire department did in protecting the neighboring property and also doing their best on the Moody property. The Moody family is a great family and I hope that eveybody is there to help them because they would be there for anyone.Good job to all the fire departments and if we can help as friends we are their for you.
