UTICA - Give them the stage, they will give you the world. After nearly 400 days under construction, the curtain finally rose to reveal an all- new Stanley Center For The Arts.

NEWSChannel 2 was broadcasting LIVE from the historic Stanley Theater in Downtown Utica as everyone anxiously awaited the start of
the Saint Petersburg Ballet performance of Romeo and Juliet.

And of course, NEWSChannel 2 was also there to celebrate the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation project.

However, I know there are other things going on that I would like to know about. Such as why the power and phone lines are out in Herkimer and why rt. 28 is closed. I understand the Stanley is important, but I've been waiting to hear whats going on that pertains to my family and friends. Where's the news on that? This is whats important to me and I'm sure many others as well.
