YORKVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - Ford dealerships across the country introduced the new 2013 Ford Fusion Thursday with an event called "Go Further with Ford" but at one Yorkville dealer, it wasn't just about the car but giving back too.

Steet-Ponte Ford on Commercial Drive invited people to come into the store, see the new model, and while doing so, sign up to win a free Ford Fusion. For people coming out to sign up, they donated $1,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley.

"We donate to some other charities in the area but they reached out to us looking for some donations," said Owner Steve Ponte. "And this time of the year they deal with over 700 underprivileged kids that live here in Utica and we thought it would be good for us to team up with them."

Participants were also entered for a chance to win a trip to see a live taping of American Idol which has teamed up with Ford.
