Utica school board members agree on capital project plan to send to taxpayers

Pat Bailey

Utica school board members have agreed on a capital project plan to send to taxpayers.

The Utica School Board voted in favor of what they call plan number 3. This plan will keep the current configuration of which school students attend.

There will still be just the one high school, Proctor, and 2 middle schools, however the plan calls for Wetmore School, a former elementary school, to be reopened giving the district a 10th elementary school.

The project will go before the taxpayers June 24th.
