UTICA - Riggiefest Weekend is officially underway! Friday, local members of the media took part in a Riggie recipe challenge to kick off the annual event! Taste-testers included Utica Mayor David Roefaro and the creator of Riggiefest, David Gibson.

Gibson says he is hoping for a big turnout at the main event tomorrow!

NEWSChannel 2's very own Susan Campbell tied for first place in the Riggiefest media challenge! Her prize was a chicken hat! She competed against three local radio stations.
