Police search for suspect in overnight "Nice N Easy" robbery
NEW HARTFORD - Police are searching for the man responsible for robbing this gas station overnight. It happened shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning at the "Nice N Easy" on Genesee Street. Police say the suspect asked the clerk to make change, and when the register drawer was open, he grabbed a handfull of cash and then ran off. The man was last seen running north on Genesee Street. Call New Hartford police at 733-6666 if you were in the area around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning, and perhaps saw anything unusual. Both New Hartford Police and Utica Police are investigating.
